I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in providing therapy and counseling services to adults, children and teens. I strongly believe that therapy can make a positive impact by giving clients the tools they need to have a healthy and successful life.

 

I've worked in a variety of settings which gave me a unique perspective on working with children, teens and families.  I've worked with sexually abused children and understand the impact abuse has on the entire family.  I've worked with homeless families and seen what effect instability and uncertainty can have on children. I've experienced the impact of abuse while working with domestic violence victims.  I've worked with foster and adoptive children and families and understand the importance of attachment and the lifelong effects of abuse, neglect and trauma. 

 

After working with all of those populations, I can tell you the one thing I've found in each case is there is always hope.  There is always hope for a client to overcome every circumstance.  There is always hope for a family to heal and be whole again.  There is always hope for a client to reach their full potential.  Together, let's rebuild hope.
